My best festival is Spring Festival.It is in Janurary or February.It is the most important festival for the Chinese that day everybody dresses up.First they extend greetings to their parents.Then each child will get money as a New Year gift,wrapped up in red paper.

People in northern China will eat jiaozi,or dumplings,for breakfast,the shape of the dumpling is like gold ingot from ancient China.So people eat them and wish for money and treasure.Burning fireworks was once the most typical custom on the Spring Festival.I like spring festival very much.It"s my favourite holiday.

在广州， 春节大约在腊月二十七就开始了。在腊月二十七这天，广州花市就开始销售各种各样的年花和年桔，逛花市的人来来往往，个个摩肩接踵，真可谓是“人山人海”！这里可热闹了，叫卖声此起彼伏，人们认真挑选物品，寻找心仪的事物。我也不例外，一大早就赶过来买年桔了。我和妈妈边走边问价格，评价桔子的大小、多少、样子，一连走了十几家，终于在一家店 面里选好了，价钱便宜又适中，这一年我们家就“大吉大利”了！

到了腊月二十八，人们总会想到这句俗语：“年二十八，洗邋遢”。大家必须大扫除，把灰尘抹净，把物品摆放整齐。大家都很卖力，还不时地唱着歌曲，哼着小调。虽然辛苦，但也是值得的！

除夕很重要。父母一早去买好鸡、肉、 鱼什么的，齐心协力把饭菜做好。饭菜十分丰盛。其实这一天为的是一家人聚在一起，谈心、聊天。虽然广州现在不能私自燃放鞭炮，但是过年的气氛并没减少，反而更喜庆、更热闹！我觉得，和爷爷奶奶、外公外婆在一起，实在是太美好了。吃过团圆饭，我们还猜谜语、说笑话，充满了欢声笑语。

最隆重的一天来了——正月初一！我们早晨起来就赶着穿新衣服，去亲戚、朋友家拜年。“恭喜发财”“身体健康”成了我的口头禅。当亲戚、朋友听到我给他们送上祝福，他们给我压岁钱时，我就最高兴了。到了晚上，白鹅潭上空烟花齐绽，红的、黄的；分散的、凝聚的；各式各样，应有尽有。鞭炮声，讨论声与笑声，洋溢着，弥漫着，真是太热闹了！

往后的几天，也主要是以拜年为主。

时间匆匆而过，正月十五来到了，家人又在一起聊天了。这一天大家一定要吃汤圆，喻意团团圆圆，希望永远不会分开。过了这一天，春节差不多结束了，一切又恢复平静了。
